Works with Skype Windows 7 x64
Pros: Easy to Use, Clarity, Design, easy software setup, price
Cons: packaging hard to open
Purchased today at OfficeMax store.
Pulled into AMD Phenom II x64 Windows 7 computer. It downloaded the drivers and installed itself.
Updated firmware on unit automatically.
Didn't install MS Live Essentials.
Ran Skype and Audio and Video worked automagically.
No problems at all.
Love it.

Doesn't work with Skype on Windows 7 x64
Pros: Design
Cons: Features, Set up, doesn't work with skype x64 windows 7
This unit works well for Windows Vista x32 machines but it doesn't work with Windows 7 x64 you can't get skype to work correctly.
To make a phone call, you have to call once and they other side doesn't hear you. You have to call again, just to have the other side hear you. You can hear the other side though.
So annoying.
Don't waste your money.

Excellent wireless router
Pros: Easy to Use, Design, Features, excellent webpage setup, price
Cons: setup cd is useless, configs get lost while update firmware
My Pros:
- Works with any issues. But do get at least the Jan 2010 firmware update.
Use the webpage to setup. Instructions on CD.
- Stable and signal is strong and doesn't freeze up like other brands.
- Energy saving setup for ports
- Tons of advance settings that you tweak.
Cons that I experienced:
- Setup CD is useless and will not complete your setup correctly.
- You may lose your configs when you upgrade firmware.
- All docs are on CD

Best price for a good picture camera
Pros: Portabililty, Compact, Optical Zoom, Megapixel
Cons: Battery Life
For the price that OfficeMax is selling it, it's a super awesome bargain. This camera rocks and takes great pictures in the day light. At night, the flash is marginal. Since I haven't had it past 1 week, I have to see how long it will last but from past review elsewhere, it should last more than 3 years. Just don't touch the lens or drop it.
The pictures comes out great and clear. Amazingly it has the Image Stabilizer which is definitely a plus since I can't hold the camera super firm.
I recommend this camera to anyone for a good deal pocket camera.

Great software for Windows PC
Pros: Number of Licenses, Operating System, Price Point, best of the famous brands
Cons: Useability, scanning time takes too long, backups feature so and so.
This Norton 360 is great for an all in 1 solution for backups, anti-virus, identity protection for a 3 user license.
I wish there's a 5 license one at a reasonable price also.
Though Norton is the not the best at catching most virus, Norton does make up on protection one's computer. I vote for it over McAfee. The 360 is a lot better in when to scan one's computer and isn't loading up the computer as much as before. But the scanning time still takes quite a long time to computer.
The backup feature is not recommended since it's very cumbersome to use. The restore feature is iffy. I rather have a HP personal media drive or a disk to disk backup by pushing a switch like the Seagate ones.

Extremely good ergononic Keyboard
Pros: Style, Dependability, ergonomic keyboard
Cons: size too big for most keyboard trays
Just plug it in my Vista 32-bit or Vista 64-bit and it works great. I have 2 of these for 2 different computers and both are excellent.
This keyboard is extremely comfortable and great for the hands and wrist.
I used to have the MS Natural but this one is so much times better in comfortable. All the keys are easy to reach and comfortable to reach. The only grip is that I haven't found a good keyboard tray that would hold the keyboard.
Also, I had to look for months to find a KVM to use if I wanted to share a monitor.
Overall, I tried the Logitech and MS, the MS wins in comfort for me hands down.

Great UPS for the money
Pros: Size, Useful, Durability
Cons: price point high compared to some competitors, battery replacement cost high
I purchased and owned this APC 350VA for around 4yrs. It's really a good UPS but it not strong enough for a longer power outage. Good for temporary power and surge at 1 time.
I just got a need new battery on it. From researching other buys, most would agree that APC UPSs lasts longer than the Cyberpower ones.
However, you do pay for it at a higher price point.

Cheap speakers at a cheap price
Pros: price
Cons: Features, sound
Originally purchased these speakers hoping it would have some Base. Boy was I wrong, it had no much much base and the volume doesn't go up too high either.
Logitech has been putting out really good quality speakers like the Logitech Z-2300 ones and the difference is like day and night.
I say these speakers are good for the price if you want something better than pc speakers but that really all you get. I think think the cheap Bose speakers at around $80-$100 is any different.

Great printer but got some gotchas
Pros: Easy to Use, Features
Cons: toner pricing, lack value, reliablity questionable, hp support questionable, cost of ownership (repairs)
HP is known to have came out with my extremely reliable printers over the years. I used to have a HP Laserjet 5P that last since 1987 to now (still working).
However, I'm not finding the same thing with HP's inkjet and HP color laserjets. Take the HP 2600 series, it constantly needs repairs and calibration.
I did check out this HP CP2025dn printer and it's way better than HP Color LaserJet CP1518ni Printer. It prints way faster at 21ppm and based on different reviews on forums, it's favorable over the CP1518ni model.
However, I did notice that the toners has gotten smaller and quite expensive compared to other printers like Brother, Lexmark and Samsung.
So at the end even I check it out and messed with a few printout, I say pass on this one or at least not at the MSRP pricepoint.

Best Color printer for price and performance
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations, Features, price, performance
Cons: colors not perfect but didn't find one is, big big big, eats power like an office printer.
After being a loyal HP printer fan for over 15+ years, I decided I had a make a change for something better value with better performance.
After researching a printer to replace my unreliable HP color printer, I researched Samsung, HP, Epson and Lexmark, I found this Brother HL4040CDN printer.
After reading the reviews, I noticed it was also on sale on Officemax.com. I purchased it on Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday just as I planned. The good news that it's Perfect.
Setup took about 30mins and the color is so much more real than my old HP 2600dn series one. To setup, removed all the pre-package tape and paper with the printer, drop in the toners and turn the power on and run the CD on the computer (choosing networking peer to peer) since I have a network switch at home.
I didn't really read the instruction since it was simple.
The red is not perfect but before you print, you can change the settings for colors or just monochrome. You can also adjust the color levels. There's also a normal and vivid color mode to set.
This is my second Brother printer, my other is a Brother MFC-8480DN and it's my workhorse but it's only black and white.
I had a older 1st generation Brother MFC-8860dn is the model I think and it was refurbished but it still lasted a 5yrs but I learned nothing refurbished lasts long. Tough lesson to learn. So I'm buying new this time also.
I recommend the Ethernet network printer since I read that the wireless CDW has issues with connectivity. Isn't all wireless not perfect?? I guess not.
The specs looks pretty impressive with 21ppm and it's living up to it's built.
Highly recommended, never another HP printer for me for a long time. Btw, the toners are bigger than the HP CP2025dn (considered to be closest to this Brother one) so it save cost per page also.
Saved over $100+ going with the Brother one compared to the HP one. Need I say more Thumbs up for Brother HL4040DN.

Excellent printer for price, features and perf.
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations, Features
Cons: weight, some noise
This is my second Brother Multi-function printer. This printer is my main printer replacing my HP ones.
It's the only printer that can scan Legal size pager on the glasstop.
I have purchased it at OfficeMax at a super awesome sale and being using it over 6 months now. The printer is my workhorse and this MFC-8480DN has duplex feature and networking built in. It's the 3rd generation model (lastest as of 9/12/09 of the MFC one). This model is black and white.
It's prints up 32PPM (pages per minute), has a 50-page tray more basic memory standard as the basic printer with 64MB.
It's very fast when printing PDF, word, and webpages.
It warms up faster than 1st Generation printer and much faster than HP Laserjet 2605dn ones.
It's worth every penny, go get it is my recommendation.
