Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations, Features, low price, cost to maintain
Over the years I have been burnt too often with slow inkjet printers.
The issue I've had was that refills were too expensive and the printers were too slow, in addition they never lasted more than two years. Most of the work print does not require color so I opted to purchase my first laser printer and the Brother HL-2240 was priced right for what I needed.. It was very easy to setup and the print quality matched my two previous HP inkjet printers. I don't think I will every go back to inkjet because the slow speed in a definite downer. By the way, the HL-2240 cartridge cost about the same as most inkjet refills. I know Brother has been around for a long time so I have some confidence with this purchase. I will be looking for a color laser printer next that has affordably priced cartridges.
