definitely skip this model
Cons: Features, Does Not Meet Expectations, Set up
this printer worked fine for about 8 months, then the trouble began - I won't bore you with all the details. But at first I could not scan more than 5 pages before I'd get an error message. It was still under warranty so I called HP - spent 3 hours on the phone with them and they could not fix it. I should have returned it right then and there, but stupidly I didn't. Now the "scanner actions" button has disappeared. I've now spent 3 hours trying to figure out what is wrong to no avail. The online HP support only makes things worse. I've unintalled and reinstalled the software several times. I did a system restore to back before this problem started. Did not help. So, now I cannot scan at all.

Better hope you don't get a paper jam!
Cons: paper jam renders unusable
I would love to join the "admiration" party for this product. However, after only 3 months, the paper roll jammed. Went to Dymo website, did everything their support suggested to no avail. After waiting on the phone for 30 minutes, I have to ship the item back. I hate that.
