GX 6750 Worst purchase ever
Cons: Quality, Design, Dependability
After a couple of months it was nothing but trouble. The ribbon raises up the striker holds the last letter hit on keyboard The letter tab becomes deformed from being held for a long period .When the ribbon returns it gets caught in the print wheel throwing it out of sync. A piece of Junk

Do you really want a typewriter?
The Brother GX-6750 takes a little getting used to.
It may work for a few years and then quit working.
It may seem like the ribbons don't last long enough and cost too much.
I bought a dozen ribbons at a discount and then the Brother GX-6750 quit working.
In this day and age, why buy a typewriter??? Use a desktop computer or a laptop or a tablet instead.
I have had rather bad luck with every typewriter I've used over the past 25 years.
Only buy a typewriter if you're going to type a lot during the warranty period.

selective information
Cons: Quality, not fully capable without additional cost
Product advertised as 10 and 12 pitch machine; but no information clearly given that one must purchase additional daisy wheels in order to use that function. Product advertised as "new"; but box clearly states that product is made from refurbished parts. Typewriter function is at best adequate for use for very limited purposes; such as filling out forms.

Best electric typewriter for the money
Pros: Quality, Design
I love this typewriter and use it frequently for personal use (journal writing, letter writing, typing up checks). I'm a very fast typist, over 140wpm, so sometimes I have to slow down a little so this machine can catch up, but keeping at a steady rhythm the 12 character per second printing is able to keep up with me just fine. It uses very inexpensive cartridges and they are very easy to change. It feels like it's durable enough, though I've noticed sometimes it will "miss" a letter (and not because I'm typing too fast for the printer carriage to keep up), I think because the keyboard has some keys that need a harder push than others. Overall, great machine for basic use.

Great for the $$
Pros: reliable, Design, Size
It has been easy to use. Types a little slower than our old model. But does everything that I need it too. And it was a great price.
