Keeps the Laptop Cool
The fan is functional at circulating the air. It is very quiet and runs off the laptop's USB port.

Good Traveler
I use this one on the road quite a bit. Fits easily in suitcase/laptop bag. Use it with my MacBook and it does the job quite well! I too have been through a couple cooling pads and this one works.

Targus Tornado Laptop Chill Mat
Pros: Design, Features, Functions
I have had three other cooling mats before this one that lasted about a month or two each and they did little to cool my laptop. However, this one cools down my laptop and it has lasted a few months longer than the previous ones.
