Best Highlighters I Have Ever Used
Pros: Comfortable Grip, Glides Smoothly, Ink Dries Quickly, no ink skipping, no ink leakage
Cons: runs out of ink somewhat quickly
This review is for the yellow highlighters, as I have yet to use any other colors of this brand of highlighters.
My girlfriend and I stumbled across these highlighters at OfficeMax when I had a gift card to use. We have tried many different brands and types of highlighters, but we were still looking for that one that would fit us both so that we could continue purchasing them.
By chance, we picked the TUL Desk-Style Highlighters in yellow. When we brought them home, we knew almost immediately that these highlighters were it. These highlighters have a very comfortable grip - they are not too fat, not too skinny, and have a special soft rubber area so that you can use the highlighter for long periods of time and not have any problems. The highlighters glide smoothly on all the paper surfaces we tried it on, and unlike some other type of highlighters, they do not leave some areas uncovered when I drag a highlighter across a paper surface (I believe it would be called ink skipping if some spots aren't highlighted). The only issue is that they do not seem to last very long, though that is not to say they run out of ink horribly quickly.
Since the first few we purchased over a year ago, we've gone back to OfficeMax twice to buy more. We have tried looking elsewhere for these TUL highlighters, hoping to find better prices, but some research has shown us that they seem to be exclusive to OfficeMax. This is a highly recommended product, both from me and my girlfriend (and trust that my girlfriend is rather picky when it comes to writing utensils).
