Cons: noisy
Purchased to replace the Office Max $139 shredder which someone ruined running something sticky through the machine. This one works just fine but is much noisier than the Office Max one and considerably more expensive. I thought it would be better than the one I had but I should have stayed with the Office Max.

LIVES UP TO THE PROMISE
Cons: does not produce the fine mulch caliber shred that
The only disappoint I had thus far Is the shredder doesn't produce the fine shred that I hoped for. I will upgrade and Invest In a more expensive model eventually. This model Is much quieter than my previous shredder.

GREAT SHREDDER/WORK HORSE
Works perfectly for the small office set up. Effeciently shreds paper, credit cards, CD etc. I have had only one overheating--came after about 45 minutes of use. cooled off after about 15 min and went back to work.

Best Shredder Yet
Pros: Durable, Sheet Capacity, Jam Free, safety features
This is our 3rd shredder & the most efficient. Paper drawer holds more than similar shredders so we have to empty it less often. Have yet to have a paper jam, not like past shredders whose shredding blades end up falling apart.
Already purchased a 2nd for our parents!

The Shredder
Pros: Jam Free
This shredder is safe for the fingers. The cutting blades are well protected. Not ideal for partial papers or just one sheet. With all the safe guards it isn't just an easy drop and shred but a controlled task to push the sheet past the sensor switch. I just bought it a week or two ago and it may never jam and it may run 100 years. It looks well made and the rollers are sturdy.

Good Shredder

Cons: "safe sense" feature is too sensitive, messy when emptying
This shredder has plenty of power for a home office or small business. Can go quite some time without overheating. The "safe sense" feature is too sensitive, making feeding the shredder difficult at times. Also, messy to empty the bin - hard to do so without leaving shreds on the floor, but I think you'll get that with most any shredder. All in all a decent shredder for the money.

Great product for the price. Does a great job, no jams. The only problem I have with this unit is that it gets full too quick, which is my fault for not buying one with a bigger bin. I would recommend it for home use but not for small business.

Not what I expected
Pros: holds more paper before you have to empty
Cons: Jamming, Durability, Sheet Capacity, noise level- squeaks a lot- must be oiled often
Overall, this shredder works better than our previous shredder. It has a higher bin capacity so we don't have to empty it as frequently, which was our main consideration when deciding on a new shredder.
However, it does not shred 12 pages at once, it will jam halfway through if you try putting more than 6 or 7 sheets in at the same time.
It also squeaks, a lot! We have to generously slather it with oil and those of us who use it, jokingly say it is run by "hamster-wheel technology." It sounds like a hamster running on its wheel when it starts to squeak.
I could not recommend this shredder to a friend, without first warning them about its cons, due to the cost of the shredder.

Okay for smaller jobs

Cons: small basket, basket difficult to align
I purchased this as a second shredder for our office and placed it in another department. The basket and sheet capacity were less than I wanted but it is sufficient for the office. I like the sheet capacity inidcator and so far it has not jammed so the Jam free feature is also a bonus.
They do have some trouble replacing the basket and getting it to align properly.
