Dinosaur
Pros: Sheet Capacity
I am sending this one back. It's like the shredder I bought 25 years ago.
The shredded pages are so big they are readable.
The paper bunches up in the teeth and you have to
constantly pull them out.

Wow! So quiet!
Pros: Sheet Capacity, Jam Free
I just got this machine and used it for the first time tonight. Am I ever impressed! It does have a big sheet capacity and is QUIET! I'm going to love the pull out waste basket.
Had I realized this kind of shredder existed, I would've sprung for it a long time ago. Interestingly enough, this model did not show up when I tried the Fellowes website to help me select a shredder. Thank goodness I read the reviews here.
I may not put off shredding now!

This might be a bit more than is needed for personal use, but it does the job well.

Big Engine, Little Can...
Pros: Durable, Sheet Capacity, Jam Free
Cons: small trash can, doesn't take a trash bag
I think that Fellowes makes a good product, from the standpoint of the shredding mechanism. The PS-79Ci can really crunch through paper although it is hard to feed because the feeder slot is so tight. So, the features and functionality of the "head" of the product are very strong. However, the receptacle or "can" for receiving the shredded paper is too small and does not conveniently take a bag. I end up having to push the paper down and empty this thing way too often. A shredder with this much juice should have a "can" twice the size. Too bad...
