The copier functions as advertised. Set-up was easy and quick. The instructions were easy to follow. The sample toner should have been standard size rather than the half amount provided.
The copier is being used in a small office and is perfect for the manner in which it is being used.

Nice value
We bought this for mainly for its copier ability, but appreciate all functions. The price was outstanding for all of its uses. As expected speed is not its strongpoint. The buttons and their functions take some getting used to. They aren't all logically positioned or named. Overall I am pleased with this first Brother branded purchase.

Nice little Machine
I previously had the HP All-in-one machine and was very unhappy with the ink cartridges. They kept leaking and forcing me to buy new ones even though they had been hardly used. I have had the bother DCP-7040 for six months now and have not had any problems with it.

Fantastic multi-purpose copier!
I purchased this to use as a summer camp copier/printer. Not only is it the least expensive I found overall (including future toner cartridge costs), it's extremely easy to use and lightweight! I couldn't have made a better purchase. Now I want one of my very own for home use!
