Great chair at a great price.
Pros: Quality, Functionality, Durability, comfort
Just wanted to give a quick review to tell everyone how great this chair is. I have have this chair, which I purchased from OfficeMax, for 6-8 months. So far I have not had a single issue yet with the chair. During this time I have been primarily been using this chair for personal use at home and I am one of those people that spend more time in their computer chair than in any other piece of furniture in the house. (Excluding sleeping in the bed.) With this being said I do believe that the durability of this unit has been tested and proven. I liked this unit so much I moved it to the office for everyday use. The massage function is more of a vibration function, but comfortable never the less. By my personal tastes this chair was the most comfortable in its class when trying it in the store and the massage was just an added bonus. On the flip side there are several possible cons, although they do not apply to me, I did think they were worth mentioning because I could totally understand how it could bother and affect some. One is that the chair could be a bit tight for larger people. The arms may be too narrow for some and the back may be too short for those that are tall. The cord does occasionaly does get in the way, and run over, but the cord has not failed or frayed yet. Overall I love this chair but I would agree that I do not think it is for everyone, if you are like me and prefer to try these kinds of things in the store, then I think most will be pleasantly suprised by the comfort which is the most important thing of all to look for in a chair, not the frills.

Pathetic Quality
Cons: Quality, Functionality, Durability
I bought this as a Christmas present to myself a year ago. I found the massage function to be laughable. Rather than being a true massage motor, it is only a glorified cellular phone vibrator. If it does anything, it tickles rather than relaxes muscles.
As for the other qualities of this chair, I have only once before been in a chair that barely allows my legs to get inside. I have beefy thighs and in only this chair and one at a client's location do I feel constrained. When I'm in my office, I need to feel comfortable. As such, all too often, I sit in a rolling guest chair rather than this one. On top of that, the arms are made very weakly. I often like to lean back in my chair and twice now in the past year, the plastic right arm has broken at the same point: just above the frontmost bolt holding the arm to the chair. The first time, the manufacturer replaced the arm under warranty. I am sure that they would not do so again.
I will most definitely not recommend this chair to anyone nor will I consider buying another at any time in the future. Avoid the product like the bubonic plague!

Good as discounted item...
Pros: Quality, Durability
Cons: Functionality, power supply gets in the way, not really "executive"
the products looks as nice as the online description showed...but...I wouls suggest never to buy a office chair online unless you have already physically tested that modle for yourself "In-Store" and if it will fit your size and needs.
The label "Exectutive" is decieving and unless you are under 5'5'' in height...this chair will not give upper support to your shoulders and neck because the height of the back of the chair is only 24.75" from the lower cushion where your lower back would touch.
It's understandable that the power supply would be via a powerblock plugged into the wall...the problem is it's too short to use if your are to move around in the office.
I've had better portable seat massage units (seat cover type) purchased for $19-$30 that do a better job.
The power cord will get caught in the wheels of the chair if you move the chair while the power cord is plugged in.
On a positive note...if you just need a comfortable short backed office chair...this will do fine...and the padded arms make the world of difference.
I would not buy this chair again for my needs...but for shorter people this may very well suffice..
The massage feature is a "vibrate only" action...there are no moving cervos in this unit.
I bought two...opened one...left the other in the box to give as a gift to someone who it may work for...as overall it does not fit our needs...
Again...test the chairs physically first in the showroom...then there will be no mistake as to whether the unit will fit your needs...

This chair is great!
Pros: Quality, Functionality, Durability, price
This chair is great. It was easy to put together and came with extra screws and tools. After sitting in it for 15 minutes with the massager on full blast not only was I so relaxed I got sleepy but it really got the circulation going in my back. I sit about 14 hours a day and this chair is, without question, the most comfortable "executive" chair I've ever had. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I should buy another one in case this one is discontinued.

Great Purchase
Pros: Quality, Functionality, Durability
A very good product at a very reasonable price. I purchased this chair in 2007 and it is extremely comfortable and is still in great shape. I use it daily in my office.

Very comfortable
Pros: Quality, looks and feels like real leather
Cons: Functionality, noisy upper back massage
I injured my back and was looking for a soft and comfortable office chair and this is one is extremely comfortable. I'm short at 5'2" and this chair is the perfect size. The only complaint I have is that the upper back massage is a little noisy, but other than that it is a great chair. I would definately recommend it to others.

Good Chair Fair Design
Pros: Quality
Cons: massage unit
The chair itself is very comfortable but the cord for the massage unit gets in the way of moving about. I have already run over the cord and had to tape it back together. The only way to avoid this problem is to wrap the cord in the chair so that it doesn't drag on the floor which restricts your movement. I very seldom use the massage unit which is okay since the chair itself is comfortable and has a good design.

Good value but a bit disappointing
Pros: value, Features
Cons: cord is cumbersome, "high back" not very high
I got a great deal on this chair from OfficeMax and have no regrets in buying it. However, it was a little disappointing. I wanted a very high back chair and even though I measured and compared it with my existing chair, it was not as high as I imagined (i.e., I can't lean my head back with the back of my head touching the chair). The massage action is pretty basic. It has four motors that are spaced out (one left top, one left bottom, one right top, one right bottom) and they don't do much other than spin. It's still better than no massage at all, but nothing spectacular. One other complaint is that the massage function works by connecting to an electrical outlet, and if your outlet is not near the right side of the chair (mine's near the left side of the chair), the cord is annoying and cumbersome and gets tangled in the chair's base. For the price and functions, it's still a good deal, but not all I had hoped for. Assembly is required, but easily done in about a half hour.

Serta "Massage" Chair
Cons: Functionality
Very disappointed in this chair. Being a Serta, I thought the massage function would be much better than it is. It's really a joke, just a weak vibration. Since you can get a REAL leather chair for $20 less, this chair is not even a good value. To add insult to injury, the ac adapter cord doesn't even stay connected to the chair. Stay away.

Two for the Price of One
Pros: Quality, Durability
Cons: Functionality
This is a great office chair that throws in the bonus of the massage feature. If your main need is massage I'm not sure this would be reason enough to make this purchase. The cord length limits how far you can move the chair when the massage feature is in operation.

Excellent Choice for Comfort and Value
Pros: Quality, Functionality, comfortable
This high-backed executive business chair was everything I was looking for in a work chair. When you work 12 to 15 hours a day, a comfortable chair is imperative. The high back and tension control help support my lower back. The PureSoft faux leather and air cushions are very comfortable and cool during the summer. The massage unit is a plus, however, realistically, you would need to connect that function on an as needed basis. The cord does get wound up around the base of the chair if you keep it connected at all times. Assembly was very easy and instructions were clear and concise. Several of my co-workers are looking into purchasing one!

Great Home Office Chair
Pros: Quality, Functionality
Cons: adjustability
The chair is large and comfortable...but at the end of the day, the built-in massager is pure relaxation. (Don't take this to your day job, unless you schedule "nap time.") Best part is that the motor speed can be controlled and the upper and lower back can be turned on and off independently. Would advise keeping power cord detached when not running massager, as cord tends to wrap around leg with movement. Seat height is easily adjusted pneumatically, but I wish the back could be adjusted forward. The chair was delivered in a few days and was a snap to assemble. This is a great bargain

Comfy Chair
Pros: Quality, Durability, relaxing, easy to assemble, comfortable
Cons: not a true massage just vibrate, arms aren't adjustable
I bought one of the Serta massage chairs for my 15 year old son's school desk. He is homeschooled so he sits in it a lot so I wanted to get him a better one. He assembled it himself (although I did check after him and tighten a few things). After getting it assembled my wife liked it so much I had to go back and get her one. (My 17 year old daughter assembled that one) so they are easy to assemble.
I was a little dissappointed in the massage feature since it is more like a vibrator than a roll up and down your back "massage" but it is still a very comfortable chair and the vibrate feature is actually very relaxing. Over-all a very good buy for the money (I bought two).

Good Chair - Massage not so useful
Pros: Appearance, comfort
Cons: power cord, pocket storage
I've had two of these chairs for a couple of years. The chair itself is pretty comfy. It looks nice. I've got it in brown, which I think looks more welcoming.
The massage is nice. Though in reality I've probably spent a total of less than 2 hours running it. The power cord is a bit of a pain. It gets wrapped around the chair base. It's not very long so it affects where you can place the chair. I no longer have the cord connected since it's more of a hassle than it's worth.
The control panel can be stored in a pocket attached to the side of the seat. However this pocket is not lined. There's a sticky residue on the inside of hte pocket that gets transferred to the control and then of course onto your hand. The pocket is also a little too snug. With the sticky residue, it makes it a bit harder to get the remote in place.
