I like these, for personal use.
Pros: Design, Features, Functions, doubles as heaphone amp although not recommended.
Sound's great for low watt use. Sub sounds great with the port plugged with a sock, I use it as a center channel mid-range. The satellite speakers sound good to me too. When I want LOUD sound I unplug the speakers and plug my 100mw headphones into the 3000mw rms speaker jack and turn down the sub woofer, this introduces a hum in the headphones at low volume, but at higher volumes it's loud and clear. Of course i don't turn it up all the way, I'm sure it would blow the headphones or my ears pretty quick. Now I don't have to keep buying batteries for my headphone amp, it's only 350mw anyway.

Pros: Design, Features
Cons: wiring
my only complaint with this product was with the wiring....the plug on mine had to be rigged to work.....otherwise it sounded like the singers were highly echoed......
Otherwise good buy....

Great for the price
Pros: Design, Features, Functions, sound quality
Cons: power
Sounds really good but not much power don't expect to shake the pictures off the walls. Cost me $5 after my card discount.

Decent Speakers, poor cabling scheme
Pros: Features
Cons: Design
Whomever designed this at Logitech didn't spend much time thinking about how the wiring will fit with a lot of desk units.
The speakers themselves are fine - just needed a set of inexpensive speakers for my office computer, and they fit that bill nicely, and sound decent.
However, I have a built in desk unit, and the cabling scheme for these speakers is very poorly thought out. The volume control, which ideally should be on the desktop, is hard wired to the Bass unit, which should ideally be under the desk. The volume control is too big to fit through the 2" cabling holes my desk unit has. Further more, the Left and Right speakers are wired together to the same plug that plugs into the back of the bass unit. Again, I can't place the Bass unit below the desk. They couldn't spare a few extra cents to make the plugs seperate to ease installation?
Bottom line - decent speakers if you have a desk you drop the cables off the back side of. For any sort of built in where you have to run the cables or wiring through holes, don't buy these, or plan to put everything on top of or below your desk.
