Cons: Quality, Assembly, desk scratches extremely easy, hutch can only be attached to the right side.
The desk is beautiful, practical and affordable. It does have quite a few pieces that need to be put together. It will take two people, several hours and a electric drill is highly recommended. I would purchase this again. As others have mentioned the desk does scratch EXTREMELY easy, but for the price what do you expect? If you want a 2000 dollar quality desk and can afford it, then by all means buy that desk. But for individuals who are watching their budget and would like a nice piece of furniture that compliments their home or office, this is the desk. I also purchased the hutch, the con for this is that it can only be attached to the right side, but with a handy husband on hand we were able to attach it to the left side with about an inch that hangs over the desk, that is not very noticeable the way our desk is placed.

Exactly what I was looking for
Pros: Design
Cons: Assembly
This desk was exactly what I was looking for to use in my home office. The look is very modern with clean lines.
It scratches very easily, but it's noting a black shappie can't fix.
It's very tedious to put together. Estimated time 3 hours with 2 people and a power drill. BUY EXTRA WOOD GLUE. The amount they provide is laughable.
Great buy for the price. I would recommend it to a friend that isn't tuff on furniture.

Lots of assembly
Pros: Design
Cons: Assembly
The desks are nice, but took lots of assembly. Not sure I could have done myself. I can't rate durability since we just started to use them. We are using the computer shelf for the computer, but we had to take the front door off because they were getting hot. So front door not such a good idea when there is a computer in there. The little vent is not enough for a pc.

Overall good buy for your money..
Pros: Design
Cons: Assembly, sharp handles
I like the overall look of the desk. It is very heavy and big, so make sure you have another person to help when setting it up. It looks smaller in the store so make sure you have the space for it. My biggest dissapointment about his desk are the drawer handles. They have very sharp corners and everytime i turn my chair it scratches my leg. I ended up buying new drawer handles, which makes the desk look nicer.

Great desk
Pros: Quality
Cons: bad assembly instruction
This is a great looking desk for such a low price. There's only 2 problems: terrible assembly instructions and bad keyboard drawer design.
The instructions were clearly written by a novice. They first give section on preparing every single piece (adding on screws) before the section on putting pieces together. So unless you have a ton of space to put every single prepared piece you'll be constantly flipping back and forth. Also, instead of building the desk upside down (so you have a large flat surface) and flipping it over at the end, the instructions want you to do it the other way so you're constantly working with unstable pieces. I would not recommend doing it their way (unless when you put on the top of the desk at the end, you want to align 16+ screws at once). Look over the instructions beforehand and assemble it upside down, which it makes it really easy.
The second problem is that the keyboard drawer comes perpendicular from one side but it's impossible to position a chair there. So, you end up placing your keyboard diagonal on it.

Love my desk
Pros: Quality, Design
Cons: Assembly
I shopped for a desk for a long time before I decided on this one, which I got with the hutch. It's beautiful, the work space and storage is more than adequate, and the writing surface is smooth. It's not solid wood; it's pressed board with a thin wood-looking covering. That's okay because I wasn't about to spend $2000 on a 1000 pound desk just to get slightly better quality. I could not give the desk a 5, no matter how much I love it though. Every piece was covered in fiberglass, so plan on taking a long shower after assembly. Also, Do Not under any circumstances pay attention to the construction time. It took us an entire day to put it together, and that was the desk alone. You get the hang of it for the hutch, and that goes easier. Oh, and I would recommend a chair without arms. Mine keeps scraping the sides of the drawers and making marks. That aside, I love this desk.

Great Desk
Pros: Quality, Design
Cons: Assembly
I absolutely love the desk. The quality is amazing for the price paid. There is a ton of flexibility in terms of where you want shelves. Additionally, the ability to "fix" the doors if one is slightly off is a much appreciated feature. I've bought enough Ikea furniture to be happy that this desk allows that.
One note about the assembly: it takes a LONG time to build, especially if you buy the hutch as well. A single person doing this takes a full day. If you have a ton of space to put it together, it would probably take less, since you could lay out all the pieces and order them, but I was working in a normal sized bedroom, so it was difficult. I do give the company props for putting each assembly piece in it's own lettered bag, instead of one big bag of pieces.
Overall, a great desk worth purchasing.

Great desk!
I bought this desk for my fiancee for her Birthday and she loves it! It really catches the eye in our office. It offers tons of space and has a gorgeous finish. Assembly took about four hours but we made it a party and all was well. Glad I bought it!

Wonderful desk
Pros: Quality, Design, Assembly
After looking at several desks in several stores, I decided to buy this desk & hutch. It took my husband 2 hours to assemble the desk and another hour for the hutch. Everything fit together nicely except the bottom drawer, it catches on the railings. The desk is beautiful and for $300 I'm very satisfied.

Happy with my purchase
Pros: Quality, Design
Overall quality is good. The finish can scratch and show through the lighter colored underlayment. Aesthetics are nice and the desk functions well. I would have liked to have been able to assemble it with the option to put the return on either side. That was a little bummer, but nothing major. Assembly was involved and time consuming, but the directions and organization of the parts was excellent. Overall, I'm happy with my desks.

Awesome desk
Pros: Quality, Design, Assembly
It has a very modern linear look. It feels sturdy and it has a lot of room for my computer, printer and home office supplies. It was easy to assemble. The instructions required two people to build it, but I did it myself with no problem.

Beautiful desk.. not the best quality
Pros: Design, look, space
Cons: Quality, Assembly
I recently bought this deak and though it is beautiful it came a little dented and not all of the parts fit perfectly together. Not sure if this was a fluke or the by-pruduct of a cheaper desk material. However, it looks great in our office and I would purchase it again for the price and look! Lots of space!

Bad Product
Cons: Quality, Assembly
Just got this product today and when I opened the box the desk scratches appeared on some of the items.Directions are an absolute joke it tells u approximate time is 1 hr and 40 minutes which is not true. When I got the desk I didn't think I would have to glue most the items and the glue that is given is a little small tube of glue so I purchased super glue and this desk still is hard to assemble from the picture. Buy another desk before buying this one and make sure it is easier to put together before buying.

Just what I was looking for
Pros: Quality
Cons: Design, Assembly
I purchased this desk almost a year ago. Like most of the reviews mentioned, it did take some time to put together, but what large piece of furniture doesn't? I also used my own wood glue with the pegs rather than what came with the parts, but that's just because I prefer to know what I'm using. Also, be sure to tap down the pegs all the way; I apparently thought I did in a couple of spots but didn't. The only place you notice this is underneath, but I'll be nervous if I have to move the desk. I haven't had any problems with the finish coming off, but I have bumped my office chair into the left side and left a small nick in it. This would have happened with any desk. I agree with the keyboard shelf placement. It needed to be a little more to the right and a bit longer. I angle my keyboard and all is well, but have my mouse on the upper section of the desk as there's no room on the shelf.
I love the sleek design, clean lines, and east-to-clean surface. A little pledge and you're all set. Tons of storage space and all very usable - even the far left corner has my router and modem so I can hide them with pictures sitting in front.
A great desk for the money - I would recommend this to anyone. Don't go out and spend $500-$1000 on a desk. Spend half that and put the rest in savings!

Poor quality
Pros: Design
Cons: Quality, Assembly
I purchased this desk 2 years ago. Its been used by one person, myself. Not only did the desk come with scratches when I opened it right out of the box it cannot withstand the slightest brush up against it. Its scratches easily, I placed a peice of household scotch tape on the edge of it for not even a few seconds til I could grab it for use and it tore the finish right off! It is not a solid wood desk and is made from what appears to be particle board BUT Sauder brand furniture withstands more than this does! And did I mention its a hassle to put together!

Great Purchase
Pros: Quality
Cons: Design
I purchased this desk after extensive research. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I waited for the unit to go on sale, and then I also had an additional coupon. With the money that I saved, I used the company that Office Max uses to put my furniture together. The guy was very professional and he put it together in no time. The only down fall is, the desk is made to sit in a corner, so you really don't want to expose the back. Other than that it is worth the money.

Very Nice Desk and Hutch
Pros: Quality, Design, Assembly
Cons: finish chips too easily
We purchased this desk for our home office. The most time consuming part of the project was the pre-assembly process of putting all the pegs and screws in it before the actual assembly. The instructions were easy to follow and actual assembly went smooth. When we went to put the hutch together the top of the hutch was cracked but one phone call and the company shipped a new top which arrived within a week. One small glitch, a piece of scotch tape was stuck to the finish and when I went to remove it the finish came off with it. fixed it with a little magic marker and hardly noticeable. I would purchase this item again and recommend it.

Beatiful desk
I was looking for a desk for school, specifically a L shaped desk. I came across this one not really wanting to spend $200 on a desk but it was well worth it. I love this desk it looks beautiful and holds all my text books and is a very solid highly durable desk. The only downside if there could be one is it took a full day to put it together so be prepared to only do this. It comes with fiberglass shreds in it so a lot of time is in wiping the parts off.
