Finally, Kodak gets it ALMOST right
Pros: Portabililty, Compact, Optical Zoom, Megapixel, Ease of Use, excellent video quality, excellent sound
Cons: no flash
I received my Zi6 2 days before we left for our vacation to Jamaica, This is by far the best tech purchase I have ever made! i learned on the fly how to use it,because I didn't pack the manual, and it was fairly easy. The pics I took were clear & crisp and the video was outstanding, some how they have Finally created a video camera that cuts out wind noise...BRAVO!! We were out on a catamaran cruise and We barely ever hear the wind on the video, but the voices are extremely clear, but I also used a HC SD card, I'm not sure how a regular SD card would perform.
The only draw back I could find is that is has no flash or light for the camera, & unless you have an extremely steady hand while taking pictures @ night, the pics were blurry,but we knew it immediately because the playback is extremely easy.
They have also FINALLY stumbled on low battery use. I have owned several Kodak cameras & they were " Battery Gluttons", I almost didn't buy it for that reason, I am So Glad I gave Kodak another chance.
I'm not too enthrawled about the Media software that came with the camera, It is very slow, but I use kodak easy share software program that came with one of my previous camera, & Voila speed & ease !!
Over all ,my hats off to Kodak for this Camera extremely compact, clean crisp pictures( even close ups) and outstanding video.....Kudos

Great Value
Pros: good product for the price
Cons: poor user manual, max 8gb sc card
At this price point the camera is an excellent buy. Being able to use regualr AA alkaline batteries is a big plus. Camera comes with rechargeables plus a charger. Reviews indicate that 8 GB is the maximum SD card to use but that is good for 2-3 hours.
For the price you can't go wrong.

GREAT CAMERA BUT INCLUDED BATTERIES FAIL

i think this has been in officemax stock room for soooo long that they finally put it on sale at $90/ piece....the result is rechargeable double A batteries that don't hold a charge for more than 20 minutes of recording after a full 12 hour recommended charge.....not that big of a deal.
this cam gets great reviews on youtube, thats why i bought it. so far it is good.
recommend u record on the HD60 mode....which is 720pixels at 60 frames per second.
the digital zoom is not smooth in the unit I got...jerky zoom
the upload to youtube function works simply.

Nice Pocket Camera

Nice little camera for the money, struggles when using 720 @ 60 fps.Not much of a zoom, very easy to use and replay on the TV looks good. Pretty handy, fits in your pocket well, great for quick video's of the grand kids. Nice that it has rechargeables because it eats them fairly quick. Of course it was $10 less a week later.

I like this little digital camera to take with me wherever I go. It's perfect for just slipping in my purse to use whenever I travel. It's picture is good enough to capture just what I need. It's fun.

This camcorder was very easy to use from the beginning and the video quality came out very good. It is small and easy to carry but not too small to use. sound was very good but lighting could be improved for those low light events.
