My first router was a wirelss Linksys WRT54G about 2 years ago. One day my ATT Highspeed DSL modem stopped working. The ATT guys came out and installed a new modem. The problem arose with the fact that the modem was an ADSL modem + "router" and that my Linksys could not work with it at all dispite trying numerous online solutions to no avail for days. So I had to upgrade my router. I remembered what a major pain it was to setup my wireless Linksys router in the first place, which took days of frustration. My job recommended router brands (Linksys, D-Link, or Belkin), so I decided to give Belkin a shot based on user reviews. I got it home and installed it per the instructions. I was impressed with how easy and quickly it went, only took an hour or less. The only sticky part came when configuring my laptops to connect with the router, but even that was made simple by the Belkin installer. No need to ever speak to a customer rep. The only regret I have is not going with a Belkin sooner. If you need router with a painless install, this is the way to go.
