Great deal for the money

I bought this for my daughter's Mac. She loves it. Has an automatic backup that she says is just incredible and is very user friendly.

Right Choice
Pros: Size, Dependability, Features
This Lacie external hard drive turned out to be exactly the right choice. Just plug and go. I'm using it with both my laptop and desktop and it was simple to configure into partitions using my Mac Utilities. Extremely quiet and love the mellow blue light when it is on.

When my laptop memory was almost in the red I decided I needed to move on to some more serious digital storage solutions! I found this little baby on sale and after a little research (and a talk with my IT hubby) we picked this one out. I love Office Max...the delivered my product the very next day! Love it!

Great deal!
Pros: Size, Dependability, Features
Cons: polished finish has to be cleaned constantly
$100 for 1TB not a bad deal 2 months ago. I can't complain about anything so far. Hooked it right-up via USB and it's working like a charm. Haven't taken advantage of the 1yr. free online storage yet, but it's tempting.

Works with Mac or PC
Pros: Size, Dependability
Works with Mac or PC. Formatting the entire 1TB to FAT32 with a Mac allows to use both Mac and PC and transfer between them [although you can transfer via a home network router using the Mac]. Files size is limited to around 4GB with FAT32 though. However, you can always use the Mac to paritionfor OS Extended and another partition NTFS. Leopard and Snow Leopard can read NTFS, but I'm not sure if it can write to it yet.
