I am not doing any pro work on this monitor, no graphics work or anything, just casual home use, email, web, video, occasional movie watching and it seems more than adequate for that.
Build quality is quite good, compared to the flimsy stuff that seems to be the norm nowadays.
There are no detailed options for tweaking if you are into that you will be under whelmed.
I just needed some real state since I use a laptop and have it hooked to that and seems fine for a regular user like me as I cannot compare it to other LCD screens other than laptop screens or to old CRTs, as I have never used any LCD monitor before this one.
The only negative was attaching the base, which is easy enough but I was very hesitant to apply pressure to it to push it in as it seemed like it would break, but I did and it didn’t but it took me 20 minutes of trying to do it gently to get to that point.
Good price point too with the Office Max coupon I had at that time, even without that it’s available at a competitive price.
Samsung and Acer reviews were all over the map from what i could read so i decided to try HP and so far so good.
