Very simple to use GPS
Pros: Screen Size, Points of Interest
Pros: excellent, simpletouchscreen user interface, so easy to use that my 69 y/o parents are able to use it effectively after just a couple of minutes
Cons: power cord seems kind of big and bulky for such a small device.

Good GPS
Pros: Text to Speech, Screen Size, Points of Interest
Cons: no free map update after 90-days of setup
This is a good basic GPS. It features a fast processor so it connects to satellites very quickly. It's ready to go right after turning on the unit. The screen also updates smoothly. The text-to-speech feature is great - much easier to follow the directions when the actual street names are spoken (turn left on main street) rather than a simple turn left in 300 meters.
One annoyance - i wish Garmin would allow a free update within the first year. Garmin allows you to update the maps within 90-days of registering the device. After I bought my device I set it up and registered it but didn't need to use it for a trip until several months later. When I tried to update the maps to make sure I had the most current version the 90-day free update period had expired.
