microsoft keyboard 5000
Cons: Features, Design, Dependability, bulky
I would not recommend this wireless keyboard and mouse kit. The keyboard could not keep up with my fast typing.
The mouse was bulky and the left and right finger buttons are very stiff and hard to click. I returned it back to officemax, with no-hassle return. thank you officemax. I also tried the keyboard 3000, also returned to officemax. if you type fast, stay with a wired/usb keyboard.

Not for AutoCad Users
Pros: Features
Cons: Design
My Logitech Wave keyboard/mouse died, so I ran to Officemax and decided to try the Microsoft Comfort 5000 Series. This series is ok for data entry as long as you didn't use the F2 in Excel that often. I am an AutoCad user and have found myself quite frustrated with this keyboard when it comes to using my ESC & function keys. They are not the size of the normal keys; they are nearly flat and much smaller. There is not enough distinction between the ESC/Function keys and the shortcut key above them and you can easily press one of the number keys trying to press a Function key. I have to look when I press the ESC key because I have not adjusted to its size. The keyboard is quite, but the mouse has a loud click. The mouse actually has a squeeking noise when I left click; like plastic rubbing on plastic. Very annoying. It is a good keyboard/mouse series, but just not for AutoCad use. I would carry it back if I hadn't thrown the box away. I will be buying the Logitech Wave Series again shortly to replace this keyboard/mouse.
