Excellent Desk for Student
Pros: Quality, Design, Assembly
This desk is great! My daughter got it for Christmas and she loves it! Her room is small and this desk fits perfectly! She sits at it for hours doing all kinds of things (reading, homework, talking on the phone).

Good student desk
Pros: Design, Assembly
We bought this desk for our daughter and it works good for her. It was easy to assemble....her eleven year old brother put it together. I would recommend this desk.

Item as described, very fast free shipping....
Pros: Design, Assembly
Cons: Quality
I ordered this desk online, on sale, it arrived very fast, it was easy to put together and it was a perfect fit for my daughter's room. It seems a little fragile, and the white color paper finish looks like it will not last, keep it away from moisture (drinks over the desk will peal or stained the paper surface). Good desk for the money, the drawer slide fine and it's a good size, I will recommend this item to others but keep it mind you have to be very careful and take good care of it if you want it to last.

Cute Desk
Pros: Quality, Design
Cons: Assembly, parts not fitting properly
I purchased this desk for my daughter. I have to say I love it for her. There are a few things that I wasn't happy about. The instructions to assemble it were very confusing. Also had a complication with the drawer handle, the screws weren't long enough so the handle would stay in place...Despite those things my daughter is very happy.

great little desk!
Pros: Quality, Design
Cons: directions are only pictures
We got this desk for my daughter's room, and she loves it! I can actually get her to sit down and do her homework now! lol Assembly was ok, pretty basic but you really have to pay attention to what your doing- we put the slides on backwards for the drawer and had to switch them, which was a pain, other than that it was all pretty self explanatory.

Student desk
This is your typical laminated particle board desk. Assembly was easy but the design is not great. They give you white stickers to cover the screws. I guess if I had to do it over I would not buy this desk. Not really a value at the price paid.

We bought this desk for my 11 year old daughters room, it is cute and the it was in are price range. I ordered it online and had it delivered ( for free ) and had it at my door step 2 days later. My daughter loves it..The only con to this purchase is, I should have paid to have it set up. It took me 4 hours to put the desk together the direction are step by step but a little confusing..BUT overall a great buy>

Student Desk
Cons: Assembly
This desk is just the right size for my granddaughter's room. The shipping time was excellent. The only drawback was the assembly. The instructions were sketchy and some of the parts were difficult to align easily. It took my son-in-law several hours to assemble.

GOOD PRODUCT
Pros: Quality, Design
Cons: Assembly
THE DESK ITSELF IS VERY NICE JUST WHAT WE NEEDED FOR OUR DAUGHTER'S ROOM - GOES VERY NICELY WITH THE BOOKCASE - BUT THE DIRECTIONS TO ASSEMBLE IT IS ANOTHER STORY - THE DIAGRAMS ARE TOO SMALL AND IT WAS HARD TO FIGURE WHICH DIRECTION THE RUNNERS HAD TO GO FOR THE DRAWER THERE ARE NO ARROWS THAT SAY FRONT OR BACK

PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Quality, Design, Assembly, beautiful
I have always wanted a desk in my room. The first desk I got was just WAY too big and it barely fit in my room. Then I found this desk in the Office Max magazine and it looked perfect!!!! So I bought the desk, bookshelf, chair, and mat with my own money. Me and my friend built it yesterday and I LOVE it. The desk is small but it fits perfectly in my room because my room is also small. I would recommend this set to all of my friends at school as well as to anybody looking for a beautiful desk to fit and small room!

Great desk
I bought this desk and the pink chair for my 9 year old granddaughter's birthday. It fits perfectly in her room is just what she needed for her home work. It was not hard to put together and the instructions were great. It is just the correct size for a young person to have and there is ample storage room for her books, paper, etc. I would definitely recommend this for school age children to use.

not worth the sale price
Pros: delivery
Cons: Quality, Assembly
I purchased this desk for my daughter's room. It came flat packed with a lot of pieces to put together. The instructions were difficult to understand and complicated. The drawings showing how to put the desk together were small and lacked the detail needed to get the pieces together correctly. The quality of the desk is poor too. In a few spots the wood dowels used to hold pieces together have broken through the side of the desk. There are also a few spots where I had to reglue the laminate onto the wood piece. Very poorly made, very hard to put together. I would not buy this product again.

Poor Construction
Pros: Design
Cons: Quality, Assembly
This desk looks cute in my 12 year old daughter's room...however, we are returning it, because of these reasons: 1) the drawer screws don't fit, so we are unable to assemble the drawer properly, 2) The finish is buckled on one side of the desk top as if it were damaged in shipping (we bought it at the store). Would recommend looking around a bit more before buying this desk. You get what you pay for.

I got what I paid for
Pros: Size
Cons: Assembly, hardware quality
I have on other occassions bought "value" furniture so know that I am not going to get top quality. I'm not someone expecting to get a BMW for a Chevy price. I also do all the assembly of furniture in my house, so I have a fair bit of experience putting these together. But I was not happy with the quality of the hardware for this. I am a woman with a history of carpal tunnel so I don't have excessive hand strength. I broke/cracked 3 cams during the construction. I have never had one break before. The head on the cam also stripped very easy so it was hard to get them as tight as they should be without damage. Also the cam bolts seat into a nylon plug in the wood. A couple times, this started spinning before I had the bolt tightened.
The directions were on 1/4 sheet size book. The pictures are very small and difficult to decipher. I had to guess the orientation a few times on the pieces, especially on the drawer slides.
But, it is together and I was able to reinforce what was broke. It took about an hour I would say.
Pluses----I really like the desk style. It is perfect size for my 8 year old. It seems a little small for me, but would work for an adult if you go into it knowing it is smaller. It is the desktop and where you put your legs that's small. Height is just fine. It fits under the foot end of my daughters loft perfectly, so it is about as wide as a twin bed.
The desktop is nice and smooth. The drawer does catch on the carpet though but this isn't that bad.
The one plus on construction was that the pilot holes for the screws were very easy to find and guide the screw into. On some others its barely a divot and you end up going off the side. Not here--real drilled pilot holes. A saving grace.
All in all I wouldn't buy this again, I would upgrade to one in the $100 range instead. But, if all you have to spend is $50 - $60 then it will be a good servicable desk. Just be aware that assembly will take some patience and TLC. I would give it a 4 or 5 if it had better hardware, even if it raised the price $5 would be worth it.
