good buy
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations
Cons: noisy
its great, only drawback its noisy, but that would not stop me from buying it or recommending it

Excellent machine, great value

Cons: a little noisier than expected
This is one of the best laser printers I have purchased. It prints so clear and sharp. I use the toner saver mode mostly, and it's still dark and clean. The full resolution makes it look picture quality like.

Quality Print, simple and reliable

Cons: oem toner cartridge goes quickly.
I wanted a simple, plain, black & white laser printer for my office at work. I didn't want to have to run to the main office printer every time I needed one page. I had good experiences with Brother printers before, so It was an easy decision ti buy this one.
I got this on sale at Office Max, and I am glad I bought it. It is a reliable printer and it works well. It has a time you can program to put it into sleep mode for energy savings, but it wakes up and prints quickly when you need it. It prints multiple pages quickly, and the print quality is great.

A great Little work horse!
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations
Simple, easy to use, inexpensive. I purchased this printer to replace my earlier version (2140) that I purchased in 2008 because the drum needed to be replaced. It is cheaper to just buy another printer than pay to replace the drum.
My only complaint is that for some reason this printer is a half an inch taller than my old Brother 2140 printer so it barely fits on top of my file cabinet underneath my desk area. Other than this issue I am very happy with this monochrome laser printer. It's a great little workhorse.
