Nice Little Printer
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations, Features
Cons: only wish it was color
I bought this printer because I like the Brother products. I just bought a Brother Inkjet of course I love it. My husband was always compaining I use too much Ink so this printer will solve that. I read on one of the revews that it was noisy. Well have you listened to a HP Laser printer? They are really noisy. So far it has been great! I hit print and paper comes out with info in it so cannot complain especially for the Black Friday Price! Looking foreward to a many years of use out of it.

Inexpensive Printer
Obviously, this printer is very inexpensive. It is reliable and relatively speedy. I like the feature of being able to feed only one piece of paper. This allows me to use scrap paper and is consequently is a good way to reuse paper rather than throwing it away. Toner replacement cartridges are expensive.

WORST PRINTER EVER

Cons: everything about it
Brother laser printers and customer service are the worst. This model and the HL-2140 model are horrible quality and Brother tries to blame all the "hardware" problems on "software". I called to let them know the printer wasn't feeding. They tell me it's a Microsoft Word setting. However, the "customer service" rep wasn't listening to me. I told them that the printer would print from all applications a few times and then decide not to feed ANY paper for ANY application after that. Of course they still wanted to blame it on the software to shirk any responsibility for the fact that the stupid printer didn't feed.
