nice buy
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations
Cons: onscreen printing process
I really like the product, it works fast, it is bigger then I expected it to be and nosier then I expected. It would be nice to have an onscreen display of the printing process. Overall nice machine works fast and good quality printing, has sleep mode which helps with energy conservation and operator set how long before sleep starts and there is an ink saver as well. Good product for the price.

Fast, Simple and Reliable
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations
Purchased this printer for home use to replace our inkjet which was prone to paper jam, cartridge jam, misalignment and general crankiness.
The Brother laser printer was easy to set up, including the wireless option for the first device. When setting up multiple devices make sure to do as other reviews have said an Uninstall old printers!! (This was especially true for the Apple devices)
So far (two months) this has been fast, reliable, no paper jams, no misfeeds or problems. The initial drum and cartridge are rated for about half the pages you get once you replace them with high yield, and the scanner works well with several different imaging programs.
No complaints.
I noticed other reviews said the lights flicker, and yes they do a bit, but, eh. I also noticed others say that it was noisy, but come on its a printer, it has to kick on and warm up. We don't find the noise to be anything out of the ordinary.

WORST PRODUCT
Cons: Does Not Meet Expectations, broken
Broke in the first week, had to exchange it ASAP. It made a broken noise with regular plain paper prints. The second new one jammed on me already! Is brother selling refurbished broken item without telling the consumers?
I had to return it TWICE because the first one was broken, and the second one jammed on me with plain paper printout, even when I've aligned the paper neatly in the paper tray.
If you like jammed papers, and a product that breaks on you within a week of use, this item is for you.

Good for the money
Bought this to replace desk-jet all-in-one printer which was always out of ink or ink was dried up and needed replacing just when I really needed to print something important (like a resume). Figure a laser (with dry ink) will be easier to maintain. Really like the fact its wireless, dont have to keep it near my computer or my network hub. Price was right.
