Brother HL2280DW Compact Monochrome Lase Printer
Pros: Meets Expectations, Features, good laser print quality
Cons: Set up
This Brother HL2280DW has good built quality. The print quality is superb nothing short of a good laser printer. The speed is fairly quick once it starts to print.
The negative thing about this printer is the easyness to set it up. I believe more than 1/2 buyers are looking for the wireless feature of this laser printer but it is not easy to set it up. First of all, my router password is something like 25 digits but the HL2280DW's screen only support a certain number charactors (10~15?) therefore I can't do the wireless connection from the printer unless I change my password. I did the set up through the included disc and USB cable... not a clean and easy task... after multiple tries between my three PC/laptop finally I got it to work. One other minor gripe is it take a good 10~20 seconds to process after you hit print.
Again, this is a good laser printer once you set it up correctly and now I do enjoy it a lot.

Brother HL2280DW
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations
I am very impressed with this printer. I use a monochrome laser at work and now enjoy not having to deal with inkjet cartridges at home. I don't print a lot at home, but I found that inkjet cartridges dry out when not used frequently. With a laser that shouldn't be an issue.
The price, I felt, was very reasonable when compared with inkjet multifunction machines.

OK for now
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations, Features
Previous reviewers concerns of power usage, and flimsyness, are correct, but their critiques don't seem that serious to me given the fact that I got it delivered in four days for $100; especially with the good reputation of Brother and it does eveything that I expected very well.
