Good product v/s Price
Pros: Features, Easy to Use, Meets Expectations
Overall this product meet what I was expected. Excellent product v/s price that the product cost. Good size of the product specialty if you are limited in space. I recommend the product.

printer software
Cons: Set up
this is supposed to be compatible with mac os but it took over two hours to set up. Had to do it manually and another 30 min to get the scanner synced. We also set up a windows 8 computer and the installation software would not come up so we had to search for the setup file to get this computer setup.
What was really sad was that we downloaded the android and iphone app and set it up in about 30 seconds. To bad the developers did not design the osx and windows setups like the app designers did. printer is fast and does a good job printing, but we were about ready to pack it up and return since canon tech support is closed on weekends.

A Good Value
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations, Features
Cons: does not scan to a png file format
I have the printer connected directly to my Vista PC using a USB cable. Setup was easy and straightforward. The driver software loaded easily and does not require a lot of resources. Printing is fast. Scanning resolution is good. It will scan to pdf, tiff, jpeg and bmp file formats. I could not find a png scan file option. Copies are good. I have not used the fax feature yet.
