Great Value
Pros: Processing Speed, Storage Space, price
Cons: software included
Very easy set up, computer finds and sets all items on network, updates fast and little help from me. large hard drive, loaded with memory things move fast. was worried about windows 8 but its growing on me fast. with the desktop view I can do all my windows 7 stuff with ease. my biggest grip is with the Norton antivirus. will get rid of it soon. what I loved the most was all the great price.

Wonderful computer
We bought this when we were in Key West recently. It's the quickest booting computer I have ever come accross. The only problem that i have with it is........ windows 8! As others have said before me, it is really hard to understand and use! But apart from that... the computer is wonderful. (ohhhhh and thank you HP for the app you have on it (or program..... sorry not computer literate here) that allows you to use the equilivant of the old windows start button...... 10 our of 10..... thank you!!)

Install Windows 7 and enjoy!
Pros: Processing Speed, Storage Space, 3d performance
Cons: windows 8
This computer (if we talk about the hardware) is great, however, I highly recommend to get rid of Windows 8 (which is a nightmare) and install Windows 7 (yes you will need to purchase it). Use Google to find the necessary drivers because HP only provides drivers for Windows 8 and most of them are not compatible with Windows 7 (hint: there are similar computers on HP website which come with Windows 7 = your source of drivers). Once you're done, this is excellent machine, good for everyday work and even modern games. I would call it a paradise for gamers on a budget. It's very fast, stable, has great 3D performance (at least for a $500 PC).

This is a shocker it works very well.
Pros: Processing Speed, Storage Space, beats audio, optical audio out, surround sound 7.1, dvi and rgb out excellent for dual monitors, good keyboard and mouse, 8 usb ports 6 rear 2 front., 6 usb 3.0 2 front 4 rear 2 usb 2.0 rear, card reader, microphone and headset jack on the front.
Cons: windows 8 x64 is not liked by everyone but once, you learn how to use win 8 it is excellent
I bought this computer in proxy of my Brother-in-Law for my nephew, and out of the box it was awesome. It loads games quickly, it plays most all current games at a decent frame rate on top settings. He absolutely loves his machine. It has beats audio on it but it does not require you to by the overpriced headsets a "bass enhanced" set of headphones will suffice. The 8GB of memory and Windows 8 x64 (Once you learn the layout and if you know your Windows Key+_ shortcuts like Windows+R for run you can navigate the system. If you want to run older games you have to get a virtual system or dosbox to run the games. Windows 8 does not really support backwards compatibility on some games.
