Great sound, for a relatively small price
I own this product since Christmas 2012 and I really like it. But lately I haven't been able to connect my iphone via bluetooth: when I turn the OnBEat on, the bluetooth status light stands still, it doesn't blink, and the onBeat Venue doesn't appear in the list of the devices ready to be paired with. What can I do? I read also that I can 'reset' this by keep the source button pressed, but it doesn't work. Thanks

Good sound worth the budget, however...
I purchased this speaker unit a week ago and I think the sound quality is very worth the price. I can say that it packs a lot of power for a speaker this size. The speaker is very easy to set up via bluetooth connection. I don't have an iPad so I don't use the dock at all and therefore cannot give any comment about that. I only connect to the speaker via bluetooth from my android phone/ laptop. However, from time to time (I have been using the speaker everyday since I purchased it), the speaker would just simply go into standby mode by itself even when the music is being played from the computer. This standby would happen for 4-5 seconds and then audio would disappear during this time and then the audio playback would resume after this "pause" all by itself. I am pretty sure this is not supposed to happen unless it's a product defect or something like that. The speaker itself or the power supply adapter? The fact that it has been occurring everyday makes it seem rather strange now and is a nuisance. What could be the reason for this? Could you please suggest to me what I can do to solve this problem or should I turn the product in to get a new replacement? Thank you. The speaker is good when it works (most of the time).

Once I got it working, it was unbelievably great.
Pros: fantastic sound, price, value
Cons: missing cord and plug
I opened the box, and was deterred from setting up by the lack of a power cord from the converter to the plug. my husband happened to have the required part from an old cassette tape player, so I got it set up. Wow! Great sound, and easy as pie to set up with bluetooth and the audio in and the 30 pin ipad dock. This works with everything! No worries about 30 pin or bluetooth or audio jack - it's all there. I listen to classical music and audio books mostly. Both types of audio sounded great! Fantastic buy! I can't believe how lucky I feel to have found this still available after Christmas.

Awesome sound
Pros: sound, visually pleasing, excellent volume
Cons: not rechargeable
Very happy with this speaker. Only downside is it is not exactly portable, it requires you to plug it into the wall. On the upside it has awesome sound, much better than all of the little portable Bluetooth speakers out on the market. I like the interface for the wife's I-Phone, easily docks and controls the speaker. The Bluetooth connects quickly for both the I-phone and my android and has excellent range. I can connect and take my phone into any room in the house and not loose signal. I would absolutely purchase another speaker especially at the unbelievable price these were at Christmas.
