many difficulties
Pros: Screen Size, Storage Space
Cons: Processing, gets hot while being used, poor sound quality
sound qualty is poor & additional sound attachments will be necessary to have adequate sound quality on this laptop. laptop heats up very hot while using on lap. don't like Toshiba apps that come installed as they just clutter microsoft apps. when battery is low the picture quality on the screen is very poor & computer does not "prompt" for low battery.

Very nice laptop for the price
Pros: Screen Size, Processing Speed
This is a very nice laptop for the price. It's pretty fast, but occasionally bogs down a bit when logging on, etc. We don't use it for much more than light web browsing, and it's well capable of that task. The screen picture is bright, clear, and beautiful. The laptop is quite light, which makes me concerned its components won't hold up over time, but that is to be determined.
My minor gripes on performance issues would be the DVD player doesn't write to blank DVDs and the memory is not expandable. But I knew that going in, and it's still the best value I've found.

Best purchase for small budget
Pros: Processing Speed, Storage Space
I am really enjoying the new computer and windows 8. This computer had everything I was looking for especially the 17 inch viewing area and does more than I could ever expect. I would highly recommend this product with a five star rating.
Also I am getting a $50 Visa card from toshiba

Excellant purchase
Pros: Processing Speed, Storage Space, Screen Size
Excellent computer. It has windows 8.1 on it and it really wasn't hard to figure out. Love my computer. I would recommend anyone to purchase it. I was also impressed on how fast it was delivered. Again, the windows program was very easy to use. I am still learning all the different features and how to use them.
