Not for manual feeding!
Cons: Does Not Meet Expectations, very hard manual feed, wants to jam, wrinkles the paper
I print 2 page documents, front and back, on one sheet and it is horrible for that. The manual feed wants to pull it in crooked or says the paper jammed (9 out of 10 times) or it would wrinkle the paper. The manual feed door is only 1" and not long enough to hold the paper in. You have to hold it. Very noisy.

Worst printer I have ever owned
Cons: Does Not Meet Expectations, loud and groves the sides of paper
Just rec'd this printer and it's awful. The fan is extremely loud and runs constantly. Sounds like a jet plane engine and you can hear it at the other end of the house with the door closed in my office. And it puts grooves down both sides of my premium laser paper from the rollers. It's my first purchase on Officemax.com and will be my last. It's a terrible product!

most expensive cheap printer
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: Does Not Meet Expectations, very expensive to keep and maintain, supplies are very expensive, would not accept "compatible" substitutes
What's wrong brother?? This printer is always on sale and I end up buying a new one each time. This is the fourth printer that I bought since it does not recognize Office Max brand toner or Cartridge World toner. You have to buy a brand new Brother brand toner which is very expensive. I print a lot in my classroom and I need a printer that has high yield and is cheap to maintain. Sad to say, this printer does not meet both requirements.

worse warranty response ever
Cons: Does Not Meet Expectations, warranty sucks
Had this printer for less than 5 weeks when it stopped working and had only printed about 25 documents.
The printer lost all power. I called Brothers inc. and they tried to help me but couldn't solve the problem. They told me that they would send me a refurbished printer to replace it and wanted a $50 deposit until they got my old printer back. I told them that I wanted a new printer since I had just bought it. they said no, that was their policy. They gave me the name and address of one of their authorized repair facilities. When I called their Phone #, I got a voice mail. I left my name and phone# but never got a call back. I decided to go to the address they gave me , it was a PO box at a UPS store.
